Why – Sweet Basil

We are talking GREEN here! What could be more healthy than Sweet Basil? Ok well, maybe Brussell Sprouts, but that’s another topic. Environmentally friendly and no “after taste” like with other musical shows. No amount of carbon dioxide and other carbon compounds are emitted before, during or after the show! As always, no animals were injured in the rehearsal or preparation of the shows. In fact, our Jack Russell “Daisy Mae” may be in attendance if the venue can afford her outrageous fee.

Sweet Basil can perform in any size space. The Duo footprint can be very small when needed or can expand to fit any stage area. Small size allows for quick set up and load out.

Sweet Basil can provide compete sound and lighting when needed. They can also provide a full DJ Service if you’d prefer a hybrid type affair. The DJ can alternate between the Show Sets to allow for dancing, dinner, presentations, or a full evening of varied entertainment.

Both Jacqui and James come from performing backgrounds including theatre, voiceovers and music. Having professionally trained voices to introduce speakers and make announcements can make your event an impressive and high quality “class-act.”

With backgrounds in classical and pop vocals both Jacqui and James can bring just about anything from Italian Opera to Broadway tunes. Their Pop Favorites span a wide range of decades from many genres. Sing-a-longs for many different tastes and ages.

The Duo has a lot of experience tailoring their shows for Fifty-five plus and Homeowner Communities. Many shows are already pre-packaged with the DJ for specific holidays and special events. Sock Hop, Classic Oldies, and Famous Duets are just a few of the themes available.
